In IT, it can feel like we work in silos. We spend so much time and energy focusing on the big applications and huge projects that we tend to lose sight of the small stuff. And because of that, we sometimes can’t innovate as much as we’d like. More importantly, so many folks throughout the company handle their day-to-day business using tools like SharePoint, InfoPath, Excel and even Email chains because they don’t have anything better.
We’d like to propose a new development opportunity to try and solve these problems: the Elanco IT TaskForce.
Elanco IT is now recruiting volunteers across all of IT for this new group. Our team will learn Force.com Agile development together using practical, real-world examples. Then, we’ll set to work on business automation efforts throughout Elanco utilizing Salesforce.

We will learn and work together, leveraging all of our unique backgrounds and experiences. Then, you will be given the freedom to develop at your own pace and tackle projects that interest you. The IT TaskForce will work to improve the lives of our business partners and Elanco IT’s brand, and we will build strong relationships with our colleagues.
If you want to think outside the box, try something new, and expand your skillset, this is for you. The IT Lead Team is supportive of this initiative, and you can work with your management to commit some time to trying this out. This is a real opportunity to step out of those silos and get some fresh air.
