UX in Effect Elanco Careers Web Page

It’s been just over 30 days since the Digital team launched the freshly revised Elanco Careers page.

This page went through an Elanco UX (User Experience) review before the creative agency and development stages, taking a look at what improvements we could make for users and potential future candidates. We look at where the brand is at, any concerns, where stakeholders see the brand going in the next year, and even explore innovative ideas that we can help make a reality.

In today’s world, we need to make sure that we give our customers the best experience we can.
Our goal should be to make their journey flawless, smooth, and something they’d be excited to tell others about.

Let’s take a look at what was done…

Improvements made:

We brought the Elanco opening statement up to the top for more attention.
We also added search filter buttons for open positions to make it quick and easy for candidates to search.
We added a “View LinkedIn” job posting button - a very familiar platform for professionals and networking.

(We added all of the these above the fold for approximately 73% more visibility.)

We also added benefits around why candidates would want to work at Elanco, making a more personal connection to our readers.
We moved up Diversity and Development on the page, helping ensure candidates that these topics are a priority to our culture.
