We are pleased to announce Jeff West has accepted the role of Manager-IT, Manufacturing Global Solutions at Elanco reporting to Todd Elliott. This change will be effective October 1 with a transition planned during Q4/2018.
In this position, Jeff will assume responsibility for the Manufacturing IT Global Solutions team, which includes support of the Manufacturing Global solutions and Project Delivery oversight. He will engage across the organization regarding the strategic planning of future state solutions for the new Elanco, which will include delivery planning/oversight and implementing the optimal support structure. Jeff will collaborate with the Manufacturing Site IT teams to influence the right primary and secondary resource models to ensure synergy across the organization. In addition, he will engage with the broader Elanco IT organization to evolve and establish the organizational processes and services that are most effective and efficient for the team.
For the last 10 years, Jeff has been managing Lilly’s IT initiatives supporting Global Serialization. His teams have implemented, upgraded and supported critical solutions for the Global Serialization Program (GSP) including: SAP Serialization modules, Warehouse and PMX integration, Packaging Automation and line control and cloud-based data transfer solutions. During this time, he established a global support organization that supports serialization locally by providing third party, on-site, support resources coordinated across eight packaging sites and through a global support center. In his 18 years at Lilly, Jeff has had manager roles in GSP, GBIP Warehouse/Inventory/Materials Management, Indy Dry Process Automation, CLASS and the Solution Center. Jeff joined Eli Lilly in 2000 after working on Lilly’s Year 2000 program. Prior to Lilly, Jeff held management and consulting roles at Whittman-Hart and Accenture and has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Indiana University.
