All,
As you know, later this month Elanco will begin to roll out CORA PPM, an enterprise portfolio management system that will provide a centralized, Elanco-wide view of all new and in-flight IT projects. This system will include everything from site-specific IT projects to our global SAP implementation. CORA will replace the many different IT tracking and reporting tools used by Elanco functions and business today.
Elanco IT PMO will continue to oversee this transition, including upcoming training sessions, launch activities and adoption.
Go-live Approach
To facilitate a smooth transition and minimize disruption, we’ll take a soft-launch approach. Elanco IT PMO will assist in adding all Elanco IT projects into CORA in phases, beginning with all Stallion projects currently in execution entered by April 1. Once completed, we will add projects as follows:
- By April 15: All non-Stallion Level 1 or 2 projects
- By May 1: All non-Stallion Level 3 or 4 projects
- By May 31: All local site IT projects (e.g. IT projects at the R&D and M&Q sites)
Processes, Training and Support
We have developed a process flow, swim lanes a procedure that denotes roles and responsibilities. The Vendor will conduct the following application training sessions and the PMO will provide job aids and other training materials during this time to support the application:
- March 20: Super User training in Greenfield
- March 21: Two half-day sessions for IT Edit Users
- March 22: Two half-day sessions for ePMO PMs - Edit Users
Additional training will be available for Read Only Users throughout the month of April. This will be in the form of a 2 sessions a week for four weeks – users just attending one session. This training will focus on Reporting, creating custom reports and dashboard views.
If you are required to attend the on-site training next week in Greenfield you will have already received an invite. Invitations to the Read Only user training will be sent later this week.
In the coming days and weeks, we will communicate further as to cut-over plans and how status updates and project status reporting will be conducted going forwards.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Cheers
Faye
