In October last year we communicated our Enterprise IT Principles, which describe our philosophy when building or buying new IT Solutions. Building on the principles, the Enterprise Architecture Community (EAC) have created a set of complementary declarations, which aim to provide specific direction across a wide range of technology areas.
These declarations have been carefully worded, focusing on new solutions (not existing/legacy), as well as recognising that there will be exceptions for specific scenarios. You can find the slide deck here: Elanco IT Declarations.
I would ask that everyone in IT reviews these declarations, looking to embed them in your decision-making process as you start to design and implement new IT Solutions.
