Only got a minute? Here’s what you need to know from TechOps
- Elancoah accounts are still being rolled out, please advise the business not to worry if they have not yet received the emails. But please encourage those who have, to activate ASAP.
- Elanco is exempt from the Skype retirement activities that Lilly are talking about
- Version 2 of the Getting Started Guide and new collaboration guide draft available
- Raise Support Ticket view missing from The Spot is a known bug – work in progress
- We did a Tech Talk on Software Distribution. You can watch it here
Identity
- Progress as of 11th June 2020.
- Invited Progress - 60.87% (4977 of 8176 have received the activation emails)
- Out of those invited we still have relatively low uptake, with 2554 yet to enrol.
- For access to the data showing who has been invited but not activated their account. To request, please email Emma Aston [aston_emma@network.elanco.com]. Please note, this is in Box and so we will need your elanco.com email to give you access.
- We are aware that there are still invites outstanding. One of the causes for this is where some contractors do not have elanco.com email contact details in Workday so we have been unable to email them their details. On Wednesday next week there will be an email sent to the supervisors of contractors with their credentials with guidance on how to securely distribute these.
- Corporate comms on this topic have been somewhat delayed due to rapid changes and uncertainty around the SSO cutover date for Inspire/Workday/CloudPay etc. An enterprise message is now scheduled for Monday.
Workplace / OCM
- If you have seen any communications from Lilly about Skype retirement activities, please be aware that Elanco are exempt from these e.g. our Skype Button won’t be removed from Outlook
- Version 2 of the Getting Started Guide available which now has Non-ABM mobile experience included. Working towards finalising this guide for Bison.
- We’ve shared a draft of the new collaboration guide which is with Corporate Comms for approval. Once approved the written copy will be translated and wrapped in a communications plan to coincide with the Microsoft Teams launch. We will also make this into a short video for employees who prefer to watch rather than read.

Support
- We’re aware that some migrated users do not see the request to raise a support ticket via The Spot, despite this now being an option available to them.
- This is due to an issue with Workday data and the Workday team are working through the list of migrated users to ensure they are all flagged correctly.
- Once flagged as migrated, they will be able to view additional services on The Spot, including an option to raise a ticket electronically instead of by phone call.
